We’re close to being a month away from tryouts. For our coaching staff, February 26 can’t get here fast enough!
Our Boosters Board and coaches are putting in countless (yes, countless) hours and we need your help. We have a lot of work ahead of us getting Cougar Field opened back up in March. We need volunteers to help with field prep, concessions, scoreboard, game announcer, and more. Please donate your time and anything else that may help us.
This winter, the coaching staff has been busy analyzing the past two years’ performance of our Cougars and seven other 4A programs. We are also shaping our team philosophy. Guest speaker Jerry Schemmel previewed that philosophy for several of our players and families before winter break. His advice, “Focus on the journey, not the goal,” is one of our program’s core principles.
