KEY 2020 SPRING DATES​

• March 4, 2020:  Rosters set for Spring V, JV and identified “swing players”, uniforms handed out.  Players not rosters to V/JV will be referred to C-Team try-outs scheduled for 3/7-8.

• March 5, 2020: Team/Program-wide player Pot-Luck dinner 6PM EHS Cafeteria.  Parents invited. Will have pre SB trip parent meeting.

• March 7, 2020: 1st Scrimmage at Fredrick H.S. Varsity plays at 10AM followed by JV.  NO UNIFORM TOPS, WEAR COUGAR BASEBALL PRACTICE TEE SHIRT WITH LONG SLEEVES UNDER IT.

• March 9, 2020: EHS Team Photos 3PM.  VARSITY TO WEAR ALL GREY/GREY WITH NAVY PIPING PANTS WITH NEW TOPS AND WHITE HATS.

• March 12, 2020: 1st Game HOME against Roaring Fork H.S. Varsity 4PM.  NO JV game.

• March 22, 2020: 6AM load, for 6:30AM chartered bus departure for AZ Spring Break trip (V and JV). Return March 28th ETA 12N.

• April 4, 2020: 1st LEAGUE GAME at EHS against LHS V @12N; JV @ 12:30PM.

KEY INFO

• Make sure you have two sets of pants: all grey or grey with navy piping and white/navy pinstripes.  Long pants or knickers allowed.  If wearing knickers, need white sanies, stirrups or navy with gold paw branded OTK baseball socks.  Players need their own batting helmets, sliding mitts, BBCOR bat.  HOME and AWAY hats this year (navy traditional and new white hat)

• First Round of Playoffs for 4A is to be completed by May 23, followed by games May 29 and 30.

• State Finals this season are June 5-6.

• This Spring we will field Varsity (V) and JV teams with designated “Swing Players” and “Pitchers Only” or POs.

• After evaluations on March 2, those that are not rostered to the V or JV will be referred to our Club Freshman Team for evaluation. Referrals to our Freshman Club Team are for current EHS freshman or sophomores only.

• V and JV players are required to have at least 5 days of practice before they participate in a scrimmage or game. They also must have submitted required Jeffco district paperwork; and be academically eligible.
