Greetings, Cougar Nation!
Games and tournaments are in full swing and here are a couple of reminders.
For the Cheyenne Mountain HS Tournament, 16 U will play Thursday 6/6 at 12:30 and 2:45 at CMHS. Remember, the field is all turf. Pitchers have to wear turf shoes on the mound. This is also an all Wood Bat tournament so make sure you have your wood bat handy.
Parent Liasons for 15U are Matt Schmidt, for 16U Emily Webre and Elaine Lipka. The 18U team still needs parent liaisons to help with updating schedules on google calendar and coordinating team travel plans for the upcoming Mesa (Grand Junction) tournament. The team is obligated to book with a tournament lodging partner and therefore, needs to be coordinated for the entire team. Please email Daphne to volunteer.
Friday through Sunday is the 18U Mines Showcase tournament. The games on Friday and Saturday will take place at EHS. The entire bracket can be seen on the homepage of our website. You will also find the updated schedule for EHS on the website calendar.
EHS plays at 9 and 2 on Friday and again at 9 on Saturday. Please click here to add your name to the SIGN UP GENIUS. We need concessions, grillers, announcers, etc. for the six games we are hosting. Breakfast burritos will be served!
The upcoming Manitou Springs Tournament is 17U will take place June 20-23 and will be invitation only. Please reach out to coaches for more information on the timing of these invitations.
We realize that not every player in our program intents to play baseball in college but for those that are, we need an email response to john.lipka@jeffco.k12.co.us answering these questions, which are directed at incoming sophomores through seniors (EHS Classes 2020 -2022)

Having the above information for those players that intend to play college ball will assist in getting you connected to or looked at by the right college recruiter at our upcoming showcases.
Thank you . . and GO COUGARS!
