NEW TREASURER STILL NEEDED

Here’s your chance to play a vital role in the Cougar Baseball organization! The Booster Club board is actively searching for a new treasurer to replace Renee Stiles, who has worked tirelessly for Cougar Baseball Booster Club as treasurer for many years.

THANK YOU, RENEE!

Partial Job Description: The Treasurer shall have custody of, and fiduciary responsibility for all accounts of the booster club, be a designated signatory for the disbursement of funds, present the annual budget at the General Membership meeting, maintain books and records relating to all financial and accounting matters of the Booster Club, present treasurer reports, budget reports and keep the board up to date on all financial matters for the Booster Club, and file required tax documents, among several other tasks.

If you have accounting abilities and are ready and willing to contribute to Cougar Baseball in this vital way, please let Daphne Taber at know. Open to parents from all three teams! The job starts June 1st!


SUMMER/FALL

Information on Summer and Fall Ball has been posted under the Teams Tab on the website. The Summer program kicks-off in June right after the State of Colorado 4A State Baseball Championships (5/23-6/1) and runs through early August.

WJBB ICE CREAM SOCIAL

To celebrate the 2019 baseball season and support the WJBB Dugout Drive, please join WJBB on Tuesday April 23 5-8 pm for an ice cream social at Baskin Robbins – Evergreen. Buy a scoop, talk some baseball, and support your local youth program through this fun fundraiser. Help us earn more $ when you buy an ice cream cake for that special celebration, graduation party, or team picnic. Don’t need a cake right now? That’s OK, pre-buy a cake on April 23 and pick it up whenever you need it!


Also, don’t miss the WJBB Beau Jo's Fundraiser Tuesday, April 23, all day. Visit Beau Jo’s in Evergreen any time on Tuesday April 23. Come for lunch or dinner. Or both! Let them know you’re supporting WJBB and WJBB will earn 20% of the proceeds. Applies to gift card purchases and take-out orders. Need teacher gifts? Now’s the perfect time to purchase those Beau Jo’s gift cards!

What is the WJBB Dugout Drive?

To improve the baseball experience of our Competitive and Rec League players, WJBB is looking to build dugouts at several area fields. Proceeds raised from our April 23 efforts will go toward this goal. We'd love to see you there.

SPRING BANQUET REMINDER

The date for the Spring Baseball Banquet is Sunday, May 19th at Mount Vernon Country Club. Start time is 5 pm. Please email Beth Kapner with the # of attendees by May 1st. Payment of $25 per person (seniors and coaches are free) is due by May 10th. For more information see the carousel slide on the website.


SENIOR DAY REMINDER

Senior Day is May 4th. This event, honoring our senior players and managers as well as their parents, will take place after the Varsity game.


VETERANS FUNDRAISER

Attention Veterans: Evergreen High School Cougar Baseball needs your help

in the purchase and installation of a new scoreboard

for our 4A competitive baseball program.

"Evergreen Veterans" naming rights will be posted
