4.07.2021 Cougar Field Prep Day - Sunday 4/11
Our field needs some final preparation work completed prior to our first home game. If you have some free time and would like to help, please join us starting at 10am on this coming Sunday. Both the Gold team and C-Team have games that day so we're targeting Navy parents or players.
Some of the tasks to be completed include:
Re-hang the protective cladding behind home plate
Hang the two bullpen nets over the top of the two bullpen swing screens (30 minute job for 1-2 people)
Complete the batting cage demo
Miscellaneous painting
Glue down cork board material in dugouts
Concession stand cleaning and setup
Other miscellaneous items
We'd like to send a special thanks to Jeff Allen for all of the work he has done at Cougar field including:
Spearheading the removal of the old scoreboards.
Installation of the new foul poles (LF is completed, RF upper piece is scheduled to be placed with a crane next week). This was a big job. Jeff contributed a huge amount of time and effort on this project and provided a lot of his own resources.
Installation of lights in our storage shed and our dugout.
Jeff is the owner of Loma Alta Electric in Evergreen (lomaaltaelectric@gmail.com). They primarily do commercial electrical work. Please contact Jeff if you need some commercial electrical work done.
We'd also like to thank the players, friends, family members and parents that helped with the large concrete pours for our foul poles in January.
Go Cougars!
